Funds raised for the initial goal of $250,000 will directly support building this innovative clinical trials Network across North America and the launch of initial high-priority clinical trials.
Why Your Support Matters to Patients:
- This is a neglected but relatively large and rapidly growing population whose quality of life continues to be substantially impacted by both routine and emerging infectious diseases.
- Clinical trials in immunocompromised individuals require specific expertise to understand potential side effects and to optimize treatment approaches.
- Establishment of a Network will facilitate study of existing and new treatments in this special population by academic and industry partners.
