The ImmunOptimize Network

The ImmunOptimize Network is being established as a national clinical trials infrastructure to help generate the evidence needed to support prevention and treatment of infections in people with suppressed immune systems.

More than 20 million Americans are immunocompromised, including cancer patients, organ transplant recipients, and people with autoimmune disorders and chronic conditions. They’re at the highest risk of complications and death from infections and disease.

However, immunocompromised individuals are largely excluded from clinical trials for potentially life-saving therapies. Lingering infections in these patients can lead to the emergence of new variants of life-threatening diseases, which can affect entire communities — not just the immunocompromised.

The ImmunOptimize Network is a clinical trials network with the goal of protecting those of us who are at the highest risk of infection…which will also help protect those of us who are not.

Help us launch clinical trials to prevent and treat life-threatening infections in people with suppressed immune systems.
